you know i am not sure why everytime silverback loses a fight they were somehow “robbed or done wrong “and then you feel the need to come and talk shit about it, you can say what you want in the gym but for what reason must you publicly try and stir up trouble?its mma, you win some and lose some, thats just how the sport works. we have been nothing but cool with you guys and i like dale and think he is a good guy but he got beat plain and simple and thats ok. i am not sure what fight you watched but there is no way he won that, i give dale the first round but the last 2 rakim won. all dale tried to do was push rakim up against the fence and go for the takedown and then when he did get it he never capitalized on it . rakim did a great job of precision counter- punching , he mixed it up with hands knees and feet, had dale out on his feet once or twice and in the third round he out gased dale. rakim stood to the center of the cage and dale almost refused to come and fight instead he chose to stick with the safety of using the cage as a prop for a takedown and when rakim wouldnt take the bait and play the fence game with him the crowd bood but they werent booing at rakim. wasnt the best fight from either fighter but not every fight can be a highlite reel. David Armas you talk alot of shit especially for a young ammy fighter, how about instead of gaining 5,000 pounds you just stick at were you are at and call it a day? 4oz has plenty guys for you to fight with at your weight class. once again we tried to show a little class and keep it professional, we even told rakim to keep his mouth shut because talking so much shit really isnt our style. even if the two had beef before the fight once its over its over, period. so if you wanna call people out, consider yourself called out. doesnt even have to be a sanctioned bout, just come by the gym and i am sure we can hook something up for you.

Here are my thoughts…it is up to you if you want to read on from here, but understand that these are my thoughts only. Trash talking is part of MMA fighting, and there can be trash talking even in a respectful manner. The fighters that trash talk each other usually squash it in the cage and after the fight, hug it out and have the mutual respect. For whatever reason, usually the Sunday or Monday after a fight I am forced to read comments from Silverback fans and fighters, either calling out someone, making excuses as to why the fighter lost, or talking smack about other fighters. My boys at Hoger talk smack but they leave it in the cage. My friends at Urban Jungle do the same, as does SBA. Why is it that Silverback always floods the internet with smack following fights? As far as David Armas, I don’t know you and have never seen you fight. From what mixedmartialarts.com says, you’ve won 2 ammy fights against a 0-3 guy and a 0-2 guy. I assume that gives you enough street cred to call out an entire gym? I’m not talking smack, because I don’t know you, I’m just asking a question to see what you’re thinking by doing that. If I read correctly, at 4oz they have sparring and fights. Why not just set up a fight with this other person and settle things in the cage and not try the internet message board fighting routine? Or at least just accept the fact that your guy lost?

Watch Ledet come right out and throw fast for the kill….i know i seem to be slightly on his nuts…and mabye i am but in all honesty there not much not to like. the kid is young works his tail off has great talant doesnt’ talk at all and he is a fun guy. I think if they make the ledet ike fight it will be a great one for fans. Ike is the man at 205 and one of my favorite guys. He alwasy brings a fight and lots of entertainment. Justin is the guy to stand with him and justin truly LOVES to fight. You can’t beat that.
One more time i gotta say the gerzan/cody fight was just unreal. Ive never seen anything like that before. Just wild. congrats to both guys….id love to see GSP watch their fight and see if he hangs his head in shame! lol (in reality id do exactly waht GSP is doing)
Naw if you seen what Rakim wrote on facebook you will see why I’m talking shit. He’s still talking. I made that guy 0-3 that was my debut. I fought Colin Wright (which is ranked #1 now) and had him beat. He beat me though and I have no excuses. We’ll see what happens next time we meet. We didn’t win fight of the night for no reason. I was scheduled to fight someone else my last fight but my opponent was switch to Casey which is a tough dude. He came off of a fight of the night performance when he fought me and I made him 0-2. I will let my fights speak for themselves. Obviously people see something in me for allowing me the privilege of fighting for the title. I plan on going pro soon so all this talk about amateur doesn’t matter after that. I don’t pick my opponents and never will. Whoever they put infront of me I’m going to smash.
