Wait no! You guys are not shutting down! I visit this site several times a day! Tell us what we can do to keep it running! If you have a revenue goal that seems out of reach, let the Houston MMA community take a stab at it!

It’s funny how when TCD decides to shut down, EVERYONE is asking why, what, when and how. You want to know how you can stop it? Build a time machine, go back about a year or so and SUPPORT the site! About 95% of the Houston MMA scene is filled with leeches. No one wanted to give back. It’s about “me, me, me”, with your hand out. I’ve over heard so many times where people wanted stuff for free and didn’t want to contribute anything for it. I guess the guys at TCD messed up when they started giving everyone free stuff, but when they decided to start selling things, for cheap I may add, people didn’t buy anything. Not going to even get on the awards show…

well said about the leeches and nobody wanting to support financially before they said they were closing. the guys at tcd put in a lot of time and money and was basically thankless work. its sucks that you guys are gone but trust me i totaly see were you are coming from.
through TCD media coverage, many fighters would not be AS FAR ALONG as they are today without TCD crew. I was in the MMA biz, as well as a big fan and stopped in on this site at a minimum of 2 times a day.
I can man up and admit TCD gave us several opprotunities for some good advertising at a small price and we never came through. I guess we allways assumed ( yeah i know the whole ass you n me saying) that they would be around a long time and we could get in on it latter. As far as the leaches, this sport is filled with them, from fans, fighters, coaches,……..you name it, the list goes on. I will go on the record and indorse 4oz fight club as being the most perfesional gym we had delt with on MMA apperal. They sold it, kept up with the money with zero issues. This is a dirty rotten biz with snakes around every corner and it starts at the top, the UFC were fighters are only getting paid 8% of the profit, compared to around 50% in all other major sports. Barry, I want to make a public appology to you for not pulling through for you on our deal we had talked about last Feb. You guys are a cornerstone and pretty much a neccesity for Houston MMA and I know I speak for everyone when I say I wish yall would reconsider. No matter what, good luck with what comes next for all of you fellas.
Can you guys do a month to month with us and see if we support you better? I for one didn’t realize. You sent the message give us a chance to respond. We didnt know what we had till it’s gone! PLEASE. I bet Nico will do table dances in his underroos to help!

Hey guys, I just wanted to be really clear about something. Money isn’t the only reason we’re shutting down. Though it is a contributing factor to be sure, there are lots of other reasons (some bigger than others) but all contributed to us deciding to pull the plug. I know it sucks, it sucks for all of us. I wish things had worked out better. I put 2.5 years into this, so it’s not easy to just walk away, but I know we made the right decision. I am so very appreciative of all those that did support us. I told somebody that I feel like TCD is the best thing I have ever done in my life and I’m very proud to have my name attached to it. Thanks again Houston!
