Another weigh-ins has come and gone and with them, so have the hunger pangs of the fighters. The Cage Combat 8 weigh-ins went really smooth today. A few fighters missed by a little, even fewer missed by a lot. In the end, all the fights made it’s time to get down with the get down. We still have a few tickets left for the fights, so get them now before we sell out and the show sells out and you’re stuck making the walk of shame back to your car because you can’t get in.
In all seriousness, I want to take a seconds and say thank you to all of you out there who support us. I think the only thing I like more than fight night is getting to spend time with all of the fighters, coaches and others involved with Houston MMA at weigh-ins. As a collective whole, the Houston MMA scene is a wonderful group of people. Thank you all for letting us be a part of it.

Boy it’s going down!!!!! Get your damn tickets if you haven’t gotten them already bc when we sell out we are closing the doors and sending everyone without a ticket home!!!!! A fight is a fight, nobody deserves to not fight because somebody backs out.
wish i could of joined everybody in tomorrows madness. i got hurt training with my brother Leroy shafer and had to call my fight off. ill see y’all may 14th in legacy. i believe that’s the right date. watch my brother shine and the monster scare the shit out the guy he fighting and the white assassin kill another fighter..lol…good luck to all the fighters in tomorrows event
