Rumor has it that Legacy Fighting Championship is on the verge of signing a long term deal with HDNet. The deal would essentially be for the entire 2012 Legacy schedule and would bring massive exposure to the budding promotion, as well as the Houston MMA scene and it’s fighters. The deal is the next step in Legacy becoming a nationally recognized MMA promotion.
Legacy and HDNet had been operating on a fight by fight basis, but after two great showings with Legacy FC 7 and 8, the Houston based promotion could be inked to a long term deal as early as next month.
One thing that is FACT and not rumor is that Legacy Fighting Championship 9 will be shown on HDNet. The card is set to take place on December 16,and if the rumors that we reported actually happen, and we think most of them will, this is setting up to be a great card.

These fights are great for the Houston scene. Some of the other leagues haven’t/won’t come to the area for a while. I was at the fights, completely legit. Bummer that there are so many poser fans present, but they were excellent fights….I don’t get HDnet, but I’m inclined to be back at the fights themselves.
Can we get that Machado vs. JDF Fight???? Whatever happened to that? Get Machado on a card!
I’m all for people being successful GO Legacy, this deal will help a lot of Houston fighter’s get that “hey that’s him” reaction in public. GO HOUSTON, it has been said that we do thang’s big in Texas, nuthin but stears hear baby nuthin but stears lol.
Htownfan ….thanks but it is not going to happen…I think jdf is doing something else now ( business ) …..he is training but not for a fight……..and as for me…I don’t have a lot of fights …so I am what you would call a nobody in mma…but I have a fight in L.A october 15 …the guy is good — he is 3-1…( im 2-0 ) so maybe I can open somebodys eyes…….im 40 now so I would like to show my kids that I was on tv or under card fighter ( at a big show like strikeforce/ ufc)……..its a loooonnnnnnggg shot…….but I still have alittle bit of a dream…thanks
Machado, you deserve to get a fight. I don’t watch shows outside of Houston, so good luck. Come on Legacy, give him someone else… I mean he won the contest, at least get his ass a fight.
