Yves Edwards saw his record fall to 37-16-1 when lost to Mike Campbell in what Steve Cofield (Yahoo sports) called a “shaky decision”. Edwards had won his last three fights before dropping this fight to Campbell. Â The fight took place on Friday, May 21, 2010 in Worcester, MA.

Chas Skelly defeated Daniel Pineda (4oz Fight Club) via Kneebar at 2:16 in the 2nd round.

Houston area fighters set to battle at Bellator 20
HoustonÂ will be well represented at Bellator 20 in San Antonio on May 27, 2010. Â TheÂ under cardÂ will see #1 ranked Humberto Deleon (Bushi Ban) fighting a very tough Jimmy Flick. Â Also on the card Legacy Main Event participant Brian Melancon (Metro Fight Club) will be squaring off again Adam Schindler.

Frank Wins again
Jason David Frank (RSKA) Â picked up his 4th victory over Carlos Horn atÂ in the cage at UWC 8. Â It took Frank just 24 seconds in the first round to lock in the armbar and get the submission. Â Frank is now undefeated at 4-0.

Craig Victorious in Pro Debut at USA MMA “Legends”
The USAMMA “Legends” event held on May 22, 2010 in Kinder, LA was packed with Houston fighters.
Andrew Craig (Team Took) Â won a unanimous decision over Antuan Williams in his pro Debut. Â Before turning pro, Craig was the 185lb Lonestar Beatdown Title Holder and the #1 ranked pound for pound amateur fighter in Houston.
Raul Jiminez (Team Gacho) was also supposed to make his pro debut on the card, but his fight with never happened as had to back out due to injury.
Colin Wright (The Hive) won his amateur debut against a tough Victor Russell early in the first round via RNC. Â Russell (1-0-0) Â trains under Tim Credeur
Kamel Saleh lost via second round TKO
- Scott “Buzzsaw” Buzzaird (The Hive) fell to 0-2. Â He was winning the fight, until making a crucial mistake that gave his opponent, Abe Williams, an opening and was forced to tap.
