NAGA Results (kind of…)

Results have been hard to obtain from NAGA.  What we do know is that Jason Solis finished 1st in Gi (lightweight division) and Chad Kight finished 2nd in No-Gi.  We’re positive there are many more Houston competitors that did well, so please let us know in the comments below!

FTW/WGC Results

Over 460 competitors hit the mats at the Texas Open in Austin on September 18th.  Houston area BJJ players had a good showing overall.  Paul Thomas Jiu Jitsu finished 5th in the Team results.  Elite MMA (Baytown) finished 8th, Gracie Barra finished 9th and Solis Martial Art finished tied for 10th.

Chavarria dominates in Oklahoma, wins title

Alexis Chavarria (Kru Pongs) made the trip up to Davis, Oklahoma to compete in the USMTA North American Amateur  Muay Thai Championships Tournament.  Chavarria ran through the 135lb amateur division on his way to winning the title.
