TheCageDoor.net has learned that Legacy President Mick Maynard is headed to LA to appear on this weeks edition of Inside MMA on HDNet.
Maynard told TCD that he was excited to be going and honored to be asked to be on the show.
This is a big deal not only for Legacy but for Houston MMA as a whole. It signifies HDNet‘s commitment to Legacy as well as their faith in Maynard to come on the show and discuss the local and national scene.
Inside MMA is a very popular weekly MMA show hosted by Bas Rutten and Kenny Rice. The hour long show covers all aspects of the MMA world, including local, regional and national promotions. Much of the show consist of the airing of highlights from many MMA promotions form around the world (including Legacy). The program has been on air since September 2007 and is regarded by hardcore and mainstream fans as the “SportsCenter” of the MMA world.
No word on who will be joining Maynard on the three person guest panel.
This episode is scheduled to air this Friday at 8pm on HDNet.

Nice news for Houston MMA any news on the Trigg Jorge Pitno match up? I don’t know Mick personally but I think he is doing an unbeliveable job for Houston.

Thanks Peanut. Macaco wasn’t too big on the idea of meeting him at a catchweight of 178. Macaco walks at around 170 so it didnt make sense for him. Trigg also had a injury so it just couldn’t be worked out unfortunately.
