TheCageDoor.net has learned that Paradigm Jeff “The Executioner” Rexroad will be back and fighting on the December Legacy card. He’ll be facing a long time UFC veteran in Paul “Tellys” Kelly.
Rexroad, who is now 4-1-0, is coming of an impressive win against John “The Maniac” Malbrough at Legacy FC 8. Having won 3 in a row, Rexroad appeared next in line for title shot against the newly Crowned 170lb Legacy champion, Jorge “Macaco” Patino.
But when Legacy came to Rexroad with the opportunity to fight Kelly, it was too good to pass up.
“I would much rather have this fight than the title fight. Titles are awesome, but not the end all, be all of fights. I get to fight someone who is known world wide as a top level and very dangerous fighter. I think this is an amazing opportunity and there is no way I could say no when Mick asked me,” Rexroad told TheCageDoor.net
Paul Kelly(12-4-0) is coming off of fight of the night honors for his fight against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 126.
This is no doubt Rexroad biggest challenge to date.
“I’m super excited about this fight. He’s fresh off of Fight of the Night performance in the UFC so he is still at the top of his game. I’m excited to test my skills against someone who has fought at the highest level and see where I stand. He is definitely going to be my toughest challenge yet…and that motivates the hell out of me,” Rexroad said.
Legacy FC 9 is set to take place on December 16th ath the Houston Arena theatre and will air live on HDNet.

Great match up for Jeff Rexroad should dominate this guy stronger faster plus I hate UK fighters kick his ass Jeff.
Go get him jeff… U got this
Way to go jeff! I gotta fresh choppa for u too!
awesome ! you deserve it jeff !
Jeff is wholly in this fight. A well prpared executioner is very able to win this fight in convincing fashion. Im not down playing the lad from across the pond but ive seen him fight. I think that Jeff has the defense to first protect himself and nuetralize Pauls Kelly’s attack. Sure its not easy and requires lots of serious training but i mean that healthy and performing well, jeff will be totally competitive and will be able to out perform paul. Looking forward to it.
