The Legacy Fighting Championship 10 card continues to evolve, and today TheCageDoor.net has learned that there has been a change to two of the fights on the card.
Bush Get Opponent
The first change is really an addition. Originally, Bubba Bush was supposed to fight Artenas “The Machine Gun” Young, but when Gerald Harris was added to the card and pitted against Young, Bush was then slated to fight the dreaded TBA (who has terrible stand-up by the way). Bush can rest easy now because his opponent has been named.
Patrick Hutton is filling the TBA spot.

Patrick Hutton
Hutton, whose record sits at an even 3-3, is coming off a 2nd round submission loss to Noel Ligon at Legacy Fighting Championship 9. After starting his career 2-0, the boxer turned MMA fighter has dropped 3 of his last 4.
Bush’s record on the other hand is a healthy 3-1. His only loss was against current Legacy Middleweight champion Andrew Craig at Legacy Fighting Championship 6. Bush possesses some of the best takedowns in Houston MMA and will no doubt be looking to do just that against Hutton.
Higgins Out, Machado In

Shawn Machado
Lee Higgins is off the Legacy FC 10 card, and taking his place is Hoger MMA’s Shawn Machado. Machado hasn’t fought in Houston since he defeated Tony Orozco back in February 2011. His last fight was a decision loss to David McMurray at Night of Champions 3 in Louisiana.
Machado has lobbied for some time to get a chance to fight at Legacy, and it looks like he’s going to get that opportunity.
In replacing Higgins, Machado steps in to face a seasoned veteran fighter in Lee King. King is much better than his 14-17-1 record would indicate, and at 6’1″ tall he will have a significant height and reach advantage against Machado.
King enjoyed a quick victory at Legacy Fighting Championship 8 after TKO’ing Mark Garcia 58 seconds into round 1. Before that, the Paradigm fighter had lost 4 in a row, a streak that went back to November 2011. King’s MMA official record stretches back to 2002, and he has one of the most stacked fighting resumes of anyone in Houston MMA having faced several UFC fighters including Carlo Prater (twice), Anthony Njokuani (twice), Melvin Guillard, Sean Sherk, Nick Gonzalez, Kyle Bradley, Roger Huerta, Matt Grice, and Edson Barboza (twice).

It’s a shame that bubba bush doesn’t want to fight Noel Ligon. That would have been a good fight. Now we’ll have to settle for trash.
