Sources are telling TheCageDoor.net that Kirk Gibson is out with an injury and will not be facing Lane Yarbrough at IXFA 7 in Winnie, TX on April 23. No details were given regarding the injury.
Stepping in to replace him against Lane Yarbrough will be Rey Trujillo! The two met back in November of 2009 with Trujillo besting Yarbrough via TKO in the first round. In that fight, Trujillo’s explosiveness caught Lane off guard with a back kick that started a sequence ending the fight in just :53.
Trujillo is looking to bounce back after suffering back to back losses. Yarbrough is a highly skilled veteran fighter who has been through many tough battles, winning his most recent fight against Josh Lee at IXFA 6.
