Back in the day, people really had to travel to train many arts. There werent BJJ black belts around, you were lucky if there was a blue belt, people had to go to other countries. One of the countries I went to train in was Indonesia. i first heard about this from my mate, johnny silmon, hydragym are a texa based company, Johnny works with a lot of celebs and sports athletes, what he liked about this piece of equipment is that its perfect for fighters. The arms give resistance across planes of motions. In Thiago Alves’s new documentary you see him doing a little work on one of these. I dont know if the prices have changed this year, but they werent cheap, if I remember about 4 or 5k, so not a piece of equipement you’ll find in your average mma gym.
