I got a great night of fights for sure. I think this might be the best, most entertaining Legacy card yet.

For easy money - I would place a parlay for Rivas, Talavera, and Garcia.

c'mon ppl!!!    whr's the excitement for this fight card?!!?   there are a lot of awesome fights on this card worthy of discussion.  Let's start hearing some predictions!

here are mine:

*disclaimer*  these picks are just my opinion and not meant to disrespect anyone. i think that every person on this card has a lot of skill and we all know that anything can happen in a fight...  again...just one man's opinions.   thank you...that is all.

155 - Todd Moore (Gracie Barra The Woodlands) vs  Brian Melancon (Paradigm)
todd is a very tough fighter and both of these guys are good wrestlers. however, i think the difference will be Brian's superior boxing. i think brian uses the boxing to set up the takedowns for some nasty GnP.  I predict TKO 2nd rd.

145  Ray Trujillo vs. Daniel Pineda (4oz Fight Club)
this fight could be a crazy one.... i think daniel is a handful for anyone to fight. i think he has superior wrestling and has a lot of experience....but Rey has a very unorthodox style that takes a lot of ppl by suprise. Rey also never stops moving forward as we saw in the war of a fight he had in the last Legacy FC.  I think that Rey's ability to put pressure on ppl and his unorthodox style will get the better of daniel and he takes the decision in another brutal war.  maybe Fight of the Night?

170 – JR Fuller vs. Jonathon Harris  (Submission Boxing)
I don't know alot about JR Fuller.... but i know that jonathon is tough to handle. he's a big boy who packs a big punch. i'm going with Harris by KO in the 1st rd.

185 – Chris Spicer vs. Bubba Bush
Spicer has decent stand-up and last i knew is a purple belt from Relson Gracie... I can't find anything on bubba bush.  I've seen chris fight several times and with the exception of one fight in Austin....he's performed well every time.   I'll take Spicer by submission in the 2nd rd.

170 - Jeff Rexroad (Paradigm) vs. Craig Gardner (Westside MMA)
I'll let all of you decide on this one. I'll stay out of it due to obvious bias... lol

205 - Artenas Young (Hoger MMA) vs. Ike Villanueva (Rocky Long MMA)
this one might end in the KO of the Night... I don't see this one making it the distance. i think both of these guys are gonna come out guns blazing trying to knock each other's heads into the 5th row.....  i think Young has the faster hands and better boxing...the question is who will have the better cardio after throwing all those haymakers.  I think Young takes it by KO/TKO in the 2nd rd.

170 – Patrick Hutton (RSKA) vs. Justin Murray (BushiBan)
we all know Hutton has some serious boxing skills... but can he stop the takedowns??  we saw that was his downfall in his last fight with RJ Knepp.  Murray doesn't have the greatest record...but i haven't seen him fight so i can't comment on his abilities.  i think if the fight stays on the feet...Hutton takes it by KO.

135 – Steve Garcia (4oz Fight Club) vs. Warren Stewart
i've seen both of these guys fight several times....and i've never seen anything from Stewart that would lead me to believe that he can beat Steve.   I think Garcia takes it by ref stoppage due to strikes in the 2nd.

170 – Ricardo Talavera (Elite MMA Houston) vs. Larry Hopkins (Silverback MMA)
never seen hopkins fight so i don't know what his skill set is...however with a 3-10 record...it seems he's still working some things out.   I think Talavera takes it by submission.

HVY – Taylor Hebert vs. Larry Crowe (Silverback MMA)
simple fact: Hebert is a beast.   Crowe has only fought one time and he has a big obstacle in his way to getting his 2nd win.    I say Hebert by KO.

170 – Jordan Rivas (Elite Baytown) vs. Ruben Melendez (Silverback MMA)
i can't seem to find anything on Ruben.  I do know that Jordan is a BB in BJJ...so I hope Ruben's been putting work in on his submission defense.  if the fight stays standing i think it's anybody's game.   however, once it hits the floor it's all Rivas.       I take Rivas by submission.

again fellas... no disrespect to anyone. i'm friends with most of the ppl on this fight card and i would never say a bad word about anyone willing to step in a cage and fight his ass off.  i wish everyone the best of luck and i can't wait til the 31st!!

Nice picks Jeff. The reason for me not making many predictions is like you said, this is an awesome card. There are great match ups and I just want to see great fights.

Thanks for signing up, glad you're here!

BTW - I'll be posting my prediction next week.

I really can't wait to see these fights, should be a great card.

As far as the "You got knocked the f out fight"

Quote
.the question is who will have the better cardio after throwing all those haymakers

I feel very comfortable in saying cardio will not be a problem from the Hoger MMA Camp

But I really hope this fight is place "correctly" on the card, b/c it will be really hard to top the fireworks that these two will make!

i cant wait to see these fights, mick you did it again and put on a awesome line up. but here are some of my picks

155 - Todd Moore (Gracie Barra The Woodlands) vs. Brian Melancon (Paradigm)
i gota go with Todd on this one due to experience and all around better skills

145 – Ray Trujillo vs. Daniel Pineda (4oz Fight Club)
Ray always pulls off the win some way some how he is a exciting fighter and keeps geting better, now pineda is also a animal and has alot of experience but i gota go with Ray on this one

170 – JR Fuller vs. Jonathon Harris (Submission Boxing)
i dont know much about fuller but one thing i do know is that Jonathon hits like a heavyweight and is pretty well rounded so im gona go with Harris via KO

185 – Chris Spicer vs. Bubba Bush
ive seen Chris fight a few times and have always like to watch him, and only thing i know about bush is that he has done pretty well in naga. but i would like to see Chris win and i have a feeling he will. so Spicer via sub

170 - Jeff Rexroad (Paradigm) vs. Craig Gardner (Westside MMA)
Rexroad looked awesome in his pro debut, and Gardner didnt look to great in the last muay thai fight even tho he won. but i like Gardner and i think he will pull off a decision win.... possible fight of the night

205 - Artenas Young (Hoger MMA) vs. Ike Villanueva (Rocky Long MMA)
The Machine Gun is back and better then ever!!!! Young via KO... and it will be KO of the night!

170 – Patrick Hutton (RSKA) vs. Justin Murray (BushiBan)
Hutton has some great striking but his down fall has been his wrestling, Murray dont have a great record but is still a animal and alot of ppl dont know that, i see Murray taking the decision win

135 – Steve Garcia (4oz Fight Club) vs. Warren Stewart
im not gonna lie i dont know anything about Stewart and have only seen Garcia fight once. but 4oz always brings there fighters well ready for a fight so i gota go with Garcia

170 – Ricardo Talavera (Elite MMA Houston) vs. Larry Hopkins (Silverback MMA)
Talavera is a beast! and from what ive seen from Hopkins hasn't really impressed me, i see Talavera finishing this fight in the first round via KO or sub

HVY – Taylor Hebert vs. Larry Crowe (Silverback MMA)
ive never seen one of these guys fight but i have herd great things about Taylor Hebert so ill go with Hebert taking the win

170 – Jordan Rivas (Elite Baytown) vs. Ruben Melendez (Silverback MMA)
once again ive never seen one of them fight but i know Rivas is a legit black belt and has a good ammy record so i see him taking the win via sub.
