UFC Octagon Nation Tour Coming to Houston

Written By: Barry Laminack

The Ultimate Fighting Championship® brings the UFC experience to fans with the Octagon Nation Tour, an interactive tour stopping in cities around the country. Fans can test their skills, check out the UFC gaming station featuring an exclusive preview of the Xbox Kinect UFC Trainer Experience, meet UFC fighters and visit the memorabilia exhibition featuring 18 years of UFC history.

Activities include physical fitness tests for fans (weigh-in, high jump, pull-up bar and a punch strength station) where each visitor receives a fight card with their results and stats that are posted to UFC.com and UFC’s Facebook site. There is also a memorabilia truck showcasing iconic items from the UFC’s 18-year history, and the gaming station that features new and exclusive UFC Xbox games.

This is the first year of the tour and the next couple of tour stops are here in Houston. The first stop will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Humble, TX followed by a second stop on Thursday, October 6, 2011 in Katy, TX.
