According to Mick Maynard, Legacy FC has come to terms on a multi-fight deal with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu superstar Robert Drysdale. Drysdale, who is a 3 time BJJ world champion as a black belt as well as an Abu Dhabi open weight champion, has coached the likes of Forrest Griffin, Evan Dunham and Frank Mir. He is 3-0 as a mixed martial artist.
Drysdale is expected to make his LFC debut at Legacy FC 11 on May 11th, live on HD Net. That card also will feature Chad Robichaux taking on Joseph Sandoval. We also announced the rumored bout between Jorge Patino and Jesus Rivera for the vacant lightweight title.

Ossssssome! Thats really positive and shows some foresight and competence! Great job Legacy. Thanks Robert, bring it!
Do we have an idea on the opponent?
BIG FUCKING DEAL! This is exciting!
That’s pretty fuckin Dope… what weight will he fight at?
He will fight at 205.
That is truly a big deal. Great job Mick!
Badda-Bing!!! We’re just getting bigger and bigger!!!
When should we see his Legacy Debut?
Same show as you Chad.
Oh that is an honor! Not only is Robert one of the best BJJ practitioners in the world but a very solid man of character. May 11th will be a great night!
Nothing to do with me being on but I think it is time Legacy starts doing Public Press Conferences and Live Stream Post Fight Press Conferences. Once shows reach the level Legacy FC has it is the next step.
The athletes Legacy is signing are athletes the bjj, thai, and mma world want to hear from pre and post fight. Legacy has made it to that level, what an awesome thing.
Thoughts?
Great idea. I also think they should stream the undercard on tcd.
Would be really cool to stream the under card on tcd
Any ideas who robert is going to be fighting?
I agree. lets see a pre and post fight conference. Plus i wanna see mick up there being the dana of LFC. hahaha. the smooth aussie.
